Teaching Approach:

I love helping people of all ages to cultivate their musical interests and talents, whatever those may be. With plenty of patience, I am happy working with all including the very young, the mature, and those with special needs. Lessons are tailored to the needs and goals of each student, fun and meaningful. With the wisdom of over 30 fortunate years of experience as a voice, beginning/intermediate piano, flute and recorder teacher, professional choral singer, and choir director, lessons are enriched from many sources.

Just moved to this Happy Valley from New York City where I taught at Crestwood Music Education Center for over 20 years as well as teaching privately, sang with the Gregg Smith Singers for 35 years, sang in many churches, synagogues, and choral concerts. I started piano lessons at the age of 8 and have two L.T.C.L. degrees from Trinity College of Music London. Also I did two year special studies programs at The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Hague, Holland and Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Basel, Switzerland.
