Photo of Monica RobelottoMonica Robelotto has been teaching piano for 35 years and has been composing, improvising and performing her whole life. She teaches at the Northampton Community Music Center in Northampton, Massachussetts and in her studio in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her goals are to nurture a lifelong love of music and guide students to their highest potential as musicians. She teaches both Suzuki and Traditional piano methods and tailors lessons to fit the needs and interests of her students. Lessons include technique, note reading, theory, ear training and improvisation. A wide range of materials are used from different styles and periods. All ages are welcome, children through adults, beginner through intermediate level. There are several performance opportunities throughout the year such as recitals, group class, community events and summer music camp.

Background:
Monica Robelotto is a classically trained pianist who has been composing, improvising, and performing since the age of six. Her undergraduate degree is in Piano Performance from the Hartt School of Music and Masters Degree is in Education from Leslie College. Monica is a Suzuki certified piano instructor and is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
